- The team can be called out any time, day or night. A vast majority of these Callouts are very physically strenuous. Every member of the team undergoes a rigorous training regimen to be in the best physical (and mental) shape possible.

MSAR TEAM TRAINING


The Malibu Search & Rescue Team holds formal training sessions twice a month. We train in the classroom one night and we train in the field one weekend day each month. The Team is attending the Mountain Rescue Association yearly reaccreditation test and the first two months' trainings of the year will be spent preparing for that. The remainder of the year's trainings are being finalized.

October - Team Certification

November - Search Management and Balance Bar
