- The team can be called out any time, day or night. A vast majority of these Callouts are very physically strenuous. Every member of the team undergoes a rigorous training regimen to be in the best physical (and mental) shape possible.

OUR RESPONSE AREA

The primary response area of the Malibu Search & Rescue Team is the Santa Monica Mountains from the Ventura County Line to Pacific Palisades as well as the East face of the Santa Susana Mountains surrounding the San Fernando Valley. We will respond to assist any of our sister teams when needed or to an OES (California Office of Emergency Services) callout when requested.
