This "Outdoor Safety Awareness" info session is held locally (Calabasas/Agoura Hills) and open to anyone such as hikers, mountain bikers, walkers, backpackers, campers, parents, kids... basically anyone who goes into the outdoors.

The topics discussed will include:

  • how to make a simple hiking plan,
  • taking essential items with you on every outing, and
  • how to summon help (if ever needed) and what to do in an emergency.
